Cherish Once In a Lifetime Events

Alright… I’m going to warn you. Yes, this is my 4th post about NKOTBSB. For those of you who follow me on twitter and think… ENOUGH ALREADY!! Well, I understand… I’m VERY (shall we say) enthusiastic about them. But, let me explain why I’m writing tonight.

Of course as many of you know, about two weeks ago I attended the Tulsa, OK stop of the NKOTBSB tour. I hate it whenever the saying “You don’t know a good thing till it’s gone…” becomes true in my life. NKOTBSB definitely fits that tonight.

It may sound silly to miss a concert experience… to some of you it may sound silly because it’s on the basis of two boy bands… but let me tell you this… It finally hit me tonight. It’s been two weeks… I still haven’t gotten over the “high/cloud” from the event… and for reasons unexplained… I missed the show more than I ever have before… and it hasn’t even been a month yet.

In attempts to make myself feel better… I Youtubed the show opener… and boy did that make me miss the concert even more. Hearing the deafening screams… seeing the effects, the lights, hearing the music again… It made me realize, “Why didn’t I cherish it more when I was actually there?”

Even watching the opening acts again. Midnight Red’s energy was on fire, they pumped up the crowd, and got everyone moving within a 3 song set — something very hard to do these days if you’re an opener.

Again, you make think I’m crazy… but I promise you… Even if I’m just another young lady out there obsessed with boy bands, the reviews of the concert even speak for itself. People come, and they see a phenomenal show.

In addition, people experience “once in a lifetime” moments all the time.. Sporting events Music events like this one — and events like Graduations, or weddings, we all wish we could go back to events every now and then.

So, to conclude… I’ll just say this… to everyone a part of the show…. I’m just really thankful that I got to see you live. If I had the chance, I would’ve partied ten times harder! šŸ˜‰ I would’ve had my camera, so I wouldn’t be disappointed with my phone’s quality of pictures… and I would’ve cherished you guys coming into the stands even more. Seeing the opener again made me realize how happy you made everyone that night–including myself.

So, here’s to hoping for another summer tour ;)! And know that even though I had a rough night tonight…. seeing the opener again, and listening to your music did cheer me up. Enjoy the final stretch, and please keep making others happy.

Steph
